About the "Sea Otter"

Keep in mind the photos currently on this site are of the earlier version "Sea Otter". We will be presenting the new hull design here in the near future.

I maintain a "Sea Otter" for a friend/customer, William G. Armiger, and I have completely restored several other "Sea Otters" including a complete restoration for a client and now friend, Rick Levin, President/CEO of Levitran Enterprises.

The "Sea Otter" makes an excellent launch or back water picnic boat for two, four or six, which ever you prefer. Many options are available to choose from including biminies, stereos, paint designs, color schemes, and built in ice chests, etc. This particular "Sea Otter" shown in the picture is 18 '6" LOA, 8'9" beam. It is powered with a 62 HP Yanmar diesel, 4JH2-TE.

We equipped her with upgrades and redesigned things on the inside per the customer's request, to make her more functional. We used U.S. Paint's AWLCRAFT® 2000 Insignia White F8150 and their HULL-GARD® Epoxy Barrier Coat System for the bottom. Over top we use AWLSTAR® Anti-Fouling Multi-Seasoning Co-Polymer Bottom Coating.

Comments or feedback concerning the "Sea Otter" are welcome.

We would like to thank Mike Kaufman of Kaufman Design for his work on this and other projects.

In addition, we appreciate the work of Lou and Nelson of Anderson Marine for their work installing the engine.
